‘Fortnite’ Carter Wu Reload Quests & Rewards
The latest content update brings Reload exclusive quests allowing players to earn the The Black Dragon Carter Wu edit style.
As we near one week since the launch of Fortnite Chapter Seven, Season One, the first content update has arrived, which brings the battle bus back to Battle Royale as well as opening up Blitz Royale and Reload to players once more, now with new weapons, locations, and more inspired by the latest Battle Royale season, “Pacific Break.” Here is everything you need to know about the quests and rewards for the Carter Wu Reload on Fortnite.
With Reload in particular, players can expect quality of life updates such as more expressive hitmarkers, a gold bar overhaul, ammo status indicators, and simple build. The Wingsuit has been added and ranks have been reset. There are also a range of Island Mastery Quests with their own set of rewards which we’ll discuss in another article. The new “Surf City Island” also features locations such as Sus Studios, Sweaty Shores and Divey Dam. In the next Reload update, players can expect Storm Surfing and a range of Morphite Weapons, including the Morphite Tac Shotgun, Morphite SMG, Morphite Pump Shotgun, Morphite Handcannon, Morphite AR and Morphite Heavy AR.
This season also adds a new twist to the battle pass with mode-specific quests that players can complete for additional rewards, including the Black Dragon edit style available for the Carter Wu skin. Today, we’ll discuss the Reload Surf City Island & Carter Wu missions that are now available and the rewards up for grabs.
Reload Surf City Island & Carter Wu Quests
Starting things off, there are a total of ten Reload: Surf City Island Quests with each rewarding players with 15,000 Season XP (for a total of 150,000 Season XP or 1.875 Season Levels). See a list of the missions below:
- Land at Named Locations 15 Times
- Travel a Total Distance of 720 Meters while Sliding
- Eliminate Players before Rebooting 15 Times
- Search Chests or Ammo Boxes 35 Times
- Eliminate Players 30 Times
- Deal 500 Damage to Players in a Single Match
- Wipe Enemy Teams or Reboot 15 Times
- Crack Players’ Shield 20 Times
- Build or Destroy Structures 65 Times
- Survive 25 Storm Phases
Additionally completing 3, 6 and 9 of the missions above rewards players with 25,000 Season XP each (for a total of 75,000 Season XP or 0.9375 Season Levels).
Next up are the Carter Wu Missions, these are unlocked after completing the two Carter Wu pages in the Battle Pass. If you unlocked the Carter Wu set at Level 5 and kept all your claims, you should have the pages completed by Level 13. See all the Carter Wu Quests & Rewards below:

In order to unlock the Action Hero quests, you have to complete all three Stuntman quests first. Similarly, to unlock the Final quest you have to complete all three Action Hero quests first.
As a reminder, players can also earn the “Reloaded Fame ‘Brella” after winning a match in Fortnite Reload for the first time.
