First ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Teaser Trailer Gets Runtime
A new report showcases the runtime for the teaser trailer of Avengers: Doomsday
As we edge closer to the release of the first teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, South Korea’s rating board has released the runtime to its website alongside a rating for the trailer. The move follows reports that indicate the first trailer for the film may be fast approaching with the release of Disney’s biggest film this year, Avatar: Fire and Ash. It only makes sense that the company will release the trailer of their biggest film for next year in conjunction with Avatar 3 to build hype.
What Is The Trailer Runtime For The ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Teaser?
According to the Film Rating Committee of Korea, the submitted trailer runtime for Avengers: Doomsday is one minute and 25 seconds (1:25) long. It should be noted that whilst this information is official, this might not be representative of the main trailer as international trailers and country specific trailers are often edited down for different purposes, with additional graphics, etc.
How Does The Runtime Compare To Other ‘Avengers’ Teasers?

To get an idea of whether this length for an Avengers trailer is a good one, we will compare it with the prior Avengers films. Whilst the first teasers for some of these Avengers films feature only title treatments without any real footage, we choose to compare the first instance of shot footage against the Doomsday teaser.
The Avengers’ first trailer released back in 2012 with a runtime of two minutes and five seconds (2:05). That is forty seconds longer than the supposed Avengers: Doomsday teaser length.
The first teaser for Avengers: Age of Ultron released in 2014 after an early leak with a runtime of one minute and 33 seconds (1:33). That is eight seconds longer than the Avengers: Doomsday teaser length.
The first teaser for Captain America: Civil War released in 2016 with a runtime of two minutes and twelve seconds (2:12). That is 47 seconds longer than the supposed Avengers: Doomsday teaser length.

The first teaser for Avengers: Infinity War released in late 2017 with a runtime of two minutes and 29 seconds (2:29). That is one minute and four seconds more than the supposed Avengers: Doomsday teaser length.
Finally, the first teaser for Avengers: Endgame released in late 2018 with a runtime of two minutes and 22 seconds (2:22). That is 57 seconds longer than the supposed Avengers: Doomsday teaser length.
| Film | Teaser Length | Difference To ‘Doomsday’ Teaser |
| The Avengers | 2 mins 5 secs (2:05) | +0:40 |

| Avengers: Infinity War | 2 mins 29 secs (2:29) | +1:04 |

| Avengers: Doomsday | 1 min 25 secs (1:25) | N/A |
What Else Does The Korean Rating Tell Us?
The Korean Classification Board has rated the teaser for all. More interestingly however, is the cast it lists. It obviously lists Robert Downey Jr., whom the film is semi-titled after, but also Pedro Pascal. Pedro Pascal plays Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, originating the role in The Fantastic Four: First Steps earlier this year.
Whilst that film underperformed at the box office, audiences are eager to see Pedro Pascal’s Reed face off against Robert Downey Jr.’s Victor von Doom. It is also possible that these two are just random selections rather than the most prominent in the trailer, but it is something worth noting.

Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and stars Robert Downey Jr., Pedro Pascal, Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Channing Tatum, James Marsden, and many more.
