‘Fantastic Four’ May Feature A Cameo From A Familiar Face
A new rumor that we can corroborate points towards an iconic face returning to the MCU for a cameo in ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’.
Marvel’s upcoming Fantastic Four film has been a long time coming, from first revealed to be in development under Jon Watts back in 2020 before being handed off to WandaVision director Matt Shakman, to a grueling casting rumor mill, we now have some idea of who may cameo, and how the film connects to the wider Multiverse Saga story.

Who Is This Big Cameo In The Fantastic Four: First Steps?
Chris Evans will return to the MCU for a cameo in the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps film. This information was first brought up earlier this week by long-time Twitter/X scooper, MyTimeToShineHello, which we can now also corroborate.
Chris Evans is expected to appear in the post credits sequence of the film, in a scene where the Fantastic Four team meets some version of Captain America (update: We have now heard that it is possible Evans may be portraying a variant of Johnny Storm rather than Captain America specifically, details are still not entirely clear at this time.). Not much more of a description was provided to us, but this information is allegedly from the recent test screening the film received.
This will seemingly fill in the gap between this film and the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, which Marvel recently revealed that all members of the Fantastic Four will be featured in its main cast. Evans was not part of the now iconic chairs reveals, however he was confirmed to be in Doomsday back in December by The Hollywood Reporter. Another actor expected by many to appear in Fantastic Four is Robert Downey Jr. as the arch-nemesis of Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards, though there isn’t enough evidence at this point to say definitively if he makes an appearance or not.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is directed by Matt Shakman and stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, Julia Garner as The Silver Surfer, and Ralph Ineson as Galactus. The film hits theaters on July 25th.
