DC Studios Releases First ‘Krypto Saves The Day!’ Short; Titles Revealed
With the impending release of Superman on digital services, DC Studios has released the first short in the Krypto Saves The Day! series.
First revealed earlier this year, the series of short films, Krypto Saves The Day!, was announced to be released following Superman. As on cue, DC Studios has obliged, releasing the first episode of the four-episode series, titled “School Bus Shuffle.” Watch it below:
The episode follows Krypto the Superdog as he begins chasing a pigeon, leading him to cut the Daily Planet globe in half in search of the bird, which endangers a school bus full of children. Krypto promptly saves the bus amid the carnage he has caused.

Krypto first appeared in James Gunn’s Superman and is set to appear in the next DC Universe film, Supergirl, where he will appear alongside Milly Alcock’s titular character, Jason Momoa as Lobo, and more.
Krypto Saves The Day! is written and directed by Ryan Kramer for DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation, with animation by Copernicus Animation. The first episode is now available to stream on YouTube and will arrive on physical media on September 23rd, 2025 as part of the Superman physical release.
