‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 Official Trailer: The Fight Of Their Lives
The official trailer holds some surprising reveals as well as a first look at The Punisher: One Last Kill.
By the end of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1, Wilson Fisk managed to become the mayor of New York which led to a number of new initiatives, including the formation of an Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF) and the “Red Hook Port Revitalisation Project,” which would later be revealed as a prison to house the vigilantes taken in by the AVTF, including The Punisher (who later managed to escape). These changes have encouraged Matt Murdock to fight back, forming his own team to take down Fisk and the AVTF once and for all.
Daredevil: Born Again Season Two was announced in August 2024 after the first season received a creative overhaul to make the series feel more in line with its predecessor. The third season is expected to premiere in March 2027 with filming currently underway.

What Happens In The Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Official Trailer?

The trailer which lasts for 1 minute and 48 seconds, opens to Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind”, Benjamin Pointdexter / Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) enters the diner from the first trailer. As he sits down, he plays with a coin between his fingers, and he says, “I’ll have one banana milkshake.” In the background, an AVTF van drives by and a number of AVTF soldiers enter the diner. One of the soldiers points a gun towards Dex; he shouts, “Put your goddamn hands up. Let’s go!” Dex turns to the soldier and shoots a toothpick into his eye. He kills all the soldiers and leaves the diner. His Bullseye logo is drawn onto the diner’s doors in blood.
The Marvel Television and Disney+ logos appear, and we briefly switch between the fake Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) and the real one. Daredevil (Charlie Cox) in his black suit is perched on the edge of a bridge, he hears something, and we cut to someone being blocked by the AVTF. A group of protestors are seen outside city hall; the words “All Hell” is plastered on the screen. The AVTF forcibly take Soledad Ayala (Ashley Marie Ortiz) with them, Angela Del Toro (Camila Rodriguez) witnesses this and calls out to her. A number of protestors put on Daredevil themed helmets of their own and charge towards city hall, the words “Break Loose” then appear.
We see a shot of Matt Murdock, Karen Page (Deborah Ann-Woll) and Kirsten McDuffie (Nikki M. James) exciting a building followed by a shot of Wilson Fisk and James Wesley (
Toby Leonard Moore) in a car. The AVTF is seen searching a church and we see a shot of Vanessa Fisk (Ayelet Zurer) in white clothing under a bridge, she’s holding a gun and seems scared. Karen and Matt are seen sharing a meal together, they hold each other’s hands before we cut to Dex leaving someone’s home. The police arrive shortly after. Matt is in court where AVTF soldiers are seen guarding the courtroom. Suited up as Daredevil, Matt fights some AVTF Soldiers in a warehouse we then cut to a shot of Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), who says, “They showed up at my house with my daughter there.” Jessica’s daughter is likely Danielle Cage who is also the daughter of Luke Cage (Mike Colter).
Matt asks Jessica, “You hurt?” to which she responds, “I’m pissed.” The black paint on the Daredevil Suit is seen fading away, revealing the usual red color scheme. Jessica hits an AVTF Soldier with a door followed by the AVTF holding off a number of protestors with barriers. Snippets from reviews are seen in between we see a shot of Bullseye, a fight between Wilson Fisk and Daredevil, Fisk hitting a protester against a wall, Karen Page in a prison cell and the AVTF chasing someone with one of their vans in a parking lot. The next scene sees Daredevil detained by AVTF soldiers; they unmask him, and one of the soldiers says, “Holy shit. It’s Matt Murdock.” An explosion occurs and we cut to Jack Duquesne / Swordsman (Tony Dalton) fighting some soldiers in the Red Hook Port Prison and Karen fighting soldiers in the street.
Heather Glenn (Margarita Levieva) appears stressed in another scene with Daredevil kneeling down on a rooftop. Bullseye throws knives at AVTF soldiers, and Wilson Fisk is covered in blood by a porch. In Frank Castle’s secret base, Matt tells Jessica, “It’s gnna be a bloodbath” to which she responds, “Then this should be tons of fun.” Matt laughs, and we cut to the Daredevil Born Again Season Two logo.
The trailer ends with the narrator saying, “And don’t miss the Punisher Special Presentation…”, a quick glimpse of the upcoming Punisher Special Presentation, The Punisher: One Last Kill is then shown where we see a close-up of Frank Castle’s (Jon Bernthal) tactical gear with a focus on the skull logo. In the next scene Frank shoots someone offscreen with a pistol, and it ends with “Streaming May 12.”
