‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 At NYCC: Details & Trailer Description
Fans got an exclusive first look at the next chapter of Daredevil during the Marvel Television and Animation panel.
The cast of Daredevil: Born Again took the stage during the Marvel Television and Animation panel at this year’s New York Comic Con to reveal new details about the show’s second season. Where we last left off, Wilson Fisk successfully formed his Anti Vigilante Task Force and they took immediate action, capturing most of New York’s vigilantes and housing them at the Red Hook Port, a name heard many times throughout the series. Frank Castle was held there for a brief period but he escaped in the finale’s post credit scene. Meanwhile, Matt is now on the hunt to form a resistance against Mayor Fisk. Daredevil: Born Again Release Date, Details & Footage Trailer Description
Starting things off the panel made sure to announce the return of Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones, she joined Charlie Cox on stage to talk about her experience returning to the MCU. Additionally, the two again confirmed that a third season has been greenlit and it will premiere in March 2027. Season two will of course premiere a year earlier in March 2026.
Next up was the footage which featured most of the season one cast including the return of Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson which was confirmed by Brad Winderbaum himself. Someone in attendance provided the following description:
Karen and Matt living together; Karen helps him train. They almost kiss before Matt hears something loud. Bullseye in civilian form is having a milkshake at a diner, he winks at someone. We see shots of Fisk, Vanessa, Daniel Blake, Buck Cashman. Then Matt is seen in a church looking sad. Jessica Jones and Matt in conversation. Then we cut to some fight scenes; one of Matt at Josies, and one of Jessica Jones. There are shots of the people of New York rioting against Fisk. Other shots in the trailer include Flashbacks of Foggy, a shot of Matthew Lillard’s Mr. Charles, Matt as Daredevil in his new black suit, and Karen walking in on Matt wearing his black suit.
Also revealed yesterday was Matthew Lillard’s mystery role in the second season. Lillard plays Mister Charles who serves as an antagonist to Wilson Fisk.
Daredevil: Born Again stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / Punisher. The second season premieres on Disney+ in March 2026.
