‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Wakanda And Fantastic Four Trailer Releases Online

On the week of December 16th, we learnt that Avengers: Doomsday would feature a total of four theatre exclusive trailers over the next four weeks. These would be attached to screenings of Avatar: Fire & Ash, the third film in the Avatar franchise which was released worldwide on December 19th, 2026 (Early Screenings allowed the film to be viewed as earlier as December 17th or December 16th depending on timezones). 

Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, better known as the “Russo Brothers” is part one of the conclusion of Marvel’s Multiverse Saga. The film is expected to see teams such as The Avengers, The New Avengers and The Fantastic Four team up to face off against the infamous Doctor Doom played by Robert Downey Jr., who was last seen as Tony Stark / Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame.

The first trailer, which was released online on December 23rd, focused on the return of Chris Evan’s Steve Rogers, who was last seen in Avengers: Endgame back in 2019. The trailer showed him on the alternate 616 timelin,e where he seemingly married Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and they now have a child. Next up was a trailer focused on Thor on December 30th who prayed to his Father, asking him for strength to face an upcoming battle and asking for his safe return so he can be there for his daughter. The week after we saw the return of Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier and Sir Ian McKellen’s Magento who were playing chess while discussing the concept of death, we also saw the return of James Marsden’s Cyclops, who was seen on a battlefield overrun by Sentinels. After its theatrical run between December 6th to January 12th, the next Avengers: Doomsday has been released online, focusing on Letitia Wright’s Shuri / Black Panther, Winston Duke’s M’Baku, Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, Mabel Cadena’s Namora and Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm / The Thing. Today we’ll discuss what happens in the Wakanda and Fantastic Four trailer which you can view the trailer below:

What Happens In The Avengers Doomsday Wakanda & Fantastic Four Trailer?

The trailer which lasts for 1 Minute and 4 Seconds opens in a desert, the camera pans down to reveal Letitia Wright’s Shuri who’s wearing her Black Panther outfit. She says “I lost everyone that matters to me” and we cut to Mabel Cadena’s Namor followed by a group of Talokanil on the surface in a sort of temple. As Shuri continues, “A king has his duties to prepare thou people for the afterlife,” we see Tenoch Huerta’s Namor sporting a new suit and spear.

We cut back to Shuri, Winston Duke’s M’Baku walks alongside her as she says “I have mine.” We then see the two are also accompanied by a number of Dora Milaje. The screen fades to black and we see M’Baku introducing himself, “King M’Baku of Wakanda.” We cut to reveal Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm is in the desert wearing his suit from Fantastic Four: First Steps, he also introduces himself “Ben… uhh Yancy Street between Broome and Grande. The last scene of the trailer shows M’Baku entering a Wakandan aircraft. Shuri does the Wakanda Forever pose as the Dora Milaje Theme plays. “The Wakandans and the Fantastic 4 will return in Avengers: Doomsday” appears on screen. We get the usual Avengers Logo with the 18th December date. The date briefly changes to “1e: 04ber: 02020” before counting down from 11 Months, 4 Days and 15 Hours.

When Will The Other Avengers Doomsday Trailers Premiere Online?

With the release of the Wakanda & Fantastic Four trailer, all four Avengers: Doomsday trailers are officially online. There’s no word on when a full trailer will be released but many speculate that we could see a new Avengers: Doomsday trailer at the Super Bowl 60 on February 8th, 2026.
