Alejandro González Iñárritu’s ‘Judy’ Trailer To Be Released With ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’
The trailer for Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Judy is reportedly almost here and set to be released with Avatar: Fire and Ash.
A new report suggests that the first teaser trailer for Alejandro González Iñárritu’s next film, Judy, will be released with James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash.
World of Reel’s Jordan Ruimy alleges that the first teaser for Judy, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, will be released in theatres alongside Avatar: Fire and Ash. The movie arrives in theatres in October 2026, so a trailer is due within the coming months.
The movie stars Tom Cruise as the world’s most powerful man who must embark on a frantic mission in order to prove that he is the savior of humanity before a disaster of his own making is unleashed on the world. The film is a return for Cruise to drama filmmaking, a contrast to his past 20 years in the blockbuster film where he has been hailed as a savior of cinema for his role in Top Gun: Maverick, and as one of the best stuntmen ever for his role in the Mission: Impossible franchise.

Iñárritu is best known as the director of Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) and The Revenant, both of which performed exceptionally well in awards season, and he most recently directed Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths, which also managed to receive an Academy Award nomination. Judy marks his eleventh film.
Joining Cruise for Judy are Sandra Hüller, Riz Ahmed, Sophie Wilde, Emma D’Arcy, Robert John Burke, Burn Gorman, Michael Stuhlbarg, and John Goodman. This means that with an ensemble of this caliber, audiences are sure to have their eyes peeled for this movie, which many are predicting as a 2027 awards season front runner.

The Judy trailer joins Avengers: Doomsday, Disclosure Day, Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu, and The Odyssey as films attached to Avatar: Fire and Ash screenings.
