‘Supergirl’ Final Trailer Releases; Tickets Now On Sale

Later than usual for the typical Summer blockbuster, Supergirl tickets are finally on sale and with it, a final trailer for the upcoming Craig Gillespie film.
The trailer showcases more or less the same things as the two previous trailers, but features the song “Call Me” by Blondie, and a few new shots including more power usage, further looks at Krem of the Yellow Hills, Superman, and even the Fortress of Solitude.
James Gunn first revealed the 2 minute 10 second trailer, which was later posted on DC socials including YouTube. Watch it below:
Demand for tickets led to a queue and reported crashes on the AMC Theatres web service, whilst Deadline’s first box office article on the film revealed that Supergirl has a $175M budget. They also report a $315M breakeven point, which is suspiciously low given the budget, betraying the 2.5X breakeven point rule.
Supergirl stars Milly Alcock as Supergirl, Jason Momoa as Lobo, Eve Ridley as Rutheye, David Corenswet as Superman, and Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills.
