David Fincher’s ‘The Adventures of Cliff Booth’ Debuts First Teaser At Super Bowl LX
Netflix released the first teaser for David Fincher’s next film, The Adventures of Cliff Booth, at the Super Bowl this past weekend.
In a surprise twist, Netflix released the first teaser for David Fincher’s next film, The Adventures of Cliff Booth, at the Super Bowl this past weekend. It was Netflix’s big move for the event, with many studios even not even advertising at all (such as Warner Bros. and Sony), leading all eyes to fixate on the remaining studios, which saw promos for the next Minions film, Pixar’s Hoppers, Scream 7, a final trailer for Project Hail Mary, and much more.

The teaser for The Adventures of Cliff Booth features drawn censorship of profanities in a 70s style, making sure it’s a spiritual and literal successor to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which of course, is the film this one is following up. Watch it here:
The film was originally going to be directed by Tarantino as his tenth and final film, but when plans changed, Brad Pitt took it to David Fincher, the visionary director behind Fight Club, The Social Network, and Se7en, who is directing from Tarantino’s script. Most recently, Fincher has been directing films for streamer Netflix, whose partnership has already produced Academy Award-nominated Mank and 2023’s sleek thriller The Killer.
The Adventures of Cliff Booth will follow Cliff (Pitt) as he continues his journey working in Hollywood, with him now working as a fixer, following the events of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. It is currently unknown whether Leonardo DiCaprio will return as Rick Dalton, but early reports suggest he won’t.

The Adventures of Cliff Booth is directed by David Fincher, written by Quentin Tarantino, and stars Brad Pitt, Elizabeth Debicki, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul Mateen II, Scott Caan, Timothy Olyphant, and many more. The film does not have a release date but is expected to be released on Netflix in 2026.
