‘Marvel Rivals’ Day First Anniversary Event Details
The latest Dev Vision reveals our first details on the one-year celebration, including free Units and new skins.
Marvel Rivals, which was first announced back on March 27th, 2024, saw a Closed Alpha Test shortly after running from May 10th – May 20th. We’ve already celebrated the one-year anniversary of that Closed Alpha Test, which saw the return of the Season 0 Battle Pass as well as the Galacta’s Gift event. Now as we approach the one-year milestone of the game’s global launch which occurred on December 6th, 2024, we have our first details on the upcoming anniversary event from Creative Director Guangguang through the latest Dev Vision, Volume 11.
Starting things off, the one-year anniversary event, which is being dubbed “Rivals’ Day” will commence after the November 27th update. Perhaps the highlight of the event (so far) is that players will be able to earn up to 2500 Units which is on average enough to purchase a legendary outfit bundle from the in-game shop. Next up, players can also earn the “Business Jeff” outfit of Jeff the Land Shark which is also Legendary rarity.
First Anniversary Outfits Coming To Marvel Rivals
A new category of outfits is also expected to be released through the event’s duration, including First Anniversary Outfits. At launch, these will include outfits for Doctor Strange, Magik, Mister Fantastic and Blade
Cake Party Outfits Coming To Marvel Rivals
A celebration is nothing without cake, and there are four upcoming “Cake Party” outfits to look forward to around the time of the event. Invisible Woman, Luna Snow, Venom and Psylocke are the first characters to get outfits based on the new category.
Marvel Rivals is developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. The game is available for free on PC, PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Rival’s Day First Anniversary Event begins on November 27th.
