Marvel’s First Family is the MCU’s latest, with Matt Shakman’s take on the famous Marvel Comics characters coming to life in the most recent instalment of Kevin Feige’s 37-film-long saga. Audiences have been asking for a good Fantastic Four film for the better part of thirty years, and now they finally have one, at least, per review platforms Letterboxd and Rotten Tomatoes. The Fantastic Four: First Steps follows superpowed scientists Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), as they plot to fight the planet-eater Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his herald The Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). Over the course of the film, couple Reed and Sue have a baby, Franklin, who holds the Power Cosmic and is said to be one of, if not the, most powerful entity in the universe.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps has two credits sequences, one after the stylised credits and one at the end of the traditional credits. This means that The Fantastic Four: First Steps has one mid-credit scene and one post-credit scene.
What Happens In The ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Post-Credit Scenes?

The mid-credit scene opens with Sue Storm reading to Franklin, four years after the end of the film, putting him at four years old. Franklin wants Sue to read him something else, so she leaves him on the sofa and goes to get another book. HERBIE passes Sue The Origin of Species by Charles Darwin, which is played as a joke, but Sue opts for something more kid friendly.
On her way back to the living room, Sue senses something is off and prepares to use her powers, and comes into full view of Franklin, where she sees a man in a dark green hood, holding a mask, with Franklin touching his face.

This is the first canonical appearance of the MCU Doctor Doom, as played by Robert Downey Jr, the famous Fantastic Four villain and the main villain of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
The second post credit scene is an animated spoof of the Fantastic Four team, with the characters appearing in an in-universe cartoon fighting several villains including John Malkovich’s Red Ghost, who was cut from the main film, and Diablo, Draconus and some others.
