Minecraft ‘Superman’ Skin Pack Revealed
Players can now celebrate the release of James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ in Minecraft with a new skin pack based on some of the film’s heroes.
This week, Superman hits theatres worldwide and collaborations are starting to go into full swing. Superman follows the story of Clark Kent navigating his double life as a reporter for the Daily Planet and the superhero, Superman. When his good deeds put him in the radar of Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult), Clark finds himself facing off with a number of foes. Players can now celebrate the release of James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ in Minecraft with a new skin pack based on some of the film’s heroes. You can read our review of the film here.
The synopsis for Superman is as follows:
When Superman gets drawn into conflicts at home and abroad, his actions are questioned, giving tech billionaire Lex Luthor the opportunity to get the Man of Steel out of the way for good. Will intrepid reporter Lois Lane and Superman’s four-legged companion, Krypto, be able to help him before it’s too late?
The film is the first major project in the newly established DCU following director James Gunn’s meteoric promotion as head of DC Studios back in 2022 after the previous iteration of the DC film universe was hit with a long string of critical and commercial failures.
This time around players can become Superman (David Corenswet), Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan), Mr. Terrific (Edi Gathegi), Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion) or Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced) in Minecraft with the new skin pack available for free in the Minecraft Marketplace. Note that the Superman Skin Pack and Minecraft Marketplace are features exclusive to the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft which is available on Mobile Devices, Consoles and PC through the Microsoft Store.
Superman is directed by James Gunn and stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and more. The film hits theaters on July 11th, 2025.
Minecraft is developed by Mojang. The Bedrock Edition is available on Mobile Devices, Consoles and PC through the Microsoft Store. The Superman Skin Pack is available for free in the Minecraft Marketplace.
