Kanye West Posts AI-Generated Trailer For ‘Vultures: The Movie’
Influential rapper Kanye West has revealed yet another AI-generated video, this time teasing a feature-length film to accompany his latest albums.
Over the last few years, Kanye West has not only survived countless controversies that he’s put himself in but arguably has thrived within the music landscape. With two independently released chart-topping albums in the last year alone, he still is indisputably one of the biggest and most influential rappers working today. Find out about his next venture, Vultures: The Movie, below.
Despite how poorly Vultures 1, and its follow-up Vultures 2, were received critically though, it seems West is ready to persist with the release of Vultures 3, the fabled trilogy ender in his ¥$ collaboration, with rapper Ty Dolla $ign. Many audiences assumed that due to the marketing ramp-up for Ye’s next solo album Bully, Vultures 3 was no more, but a new clip gives some fans hope that it will be released.
Kanye West uploaded a video with the simple caption “VULTURES THE MOVIE”, which features AI-generated imagery heavily, perhaps exclusively, with what seems to be a gangster crime-creature feature hybrid in a greyscale palette. The video ends quite unintentionally funny, with it being revealed that Ye had screen recorded the creation on his phone and uploaded it directly without trimming the screen recording drop down menu. Most notably however, the video does not feature any songs previewed for any of the Vultures albums and none of the released tracks.
The move comes after the release of the music video for “530”, which also heavily featured generative AI.
While it is uncertain if Vultures 3 will be released, following the complete ignorance of the album since it missed its initial release date of April 5, 2024, audiences eagerly await it for possible inclusions of tracks like “Everybody”, a song that was previewed over a year ago and samples the hit song from boy band Backstreet Boys- “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”.
